Chris Cooper began his career in nursing homes and hospitals as a paramedic and nurse. A personal interest in learning how people could finance health care, led him later in his career to pursue his Chartered Life Underwriter and Chartered Financial Consultant designations. Chris also holds a Masters of Science in Financial Services degree and a Graduate Certificate in Gerontology.
Chris is also the owner and founder of ElderCare Advocates, Inc. a private geriatric care management and long term care consulting firm. ElderCare Advocates is a free standing, non-hospital or other health care provider affiliated firm that provides comprehensive assessments and planning of long term care needs of disabled adults and the elderly.
